That's So Money!

Hey look, we're famous:

You can't tell from the cover, but we got a little mention in "Money" magazine back in January. I didn't even know it until someone emailed me today to tell me.

My wife, Faith, is actually the one quoted. A reporter called her out of the blue several months ago and interviewed her. Then nothing else happened for awhile and we forgot all about it.

But here it is:

Her quote is halfway through the article. She gave the reporter some sound advice:

"A cost-effective strategy is to gang together small projects—dripping faucets, cracked plaster, paint touch-ups—and hire someone to do them all at once."

She's absolutely right; this is a great strategy. I have several clients who call me regularly with checklists, and it's very efficient for them because they only have to call me out once every so often. It's also helpful for budgeting, because it's easier to keep track of what you're spending when everything is grouped together in a checklist.
